In the process of accessing the whiteboard, you may encounter various problems. This chapter will teach you how to use the tools provided by Netless to locate and solve these problems.
When you encounter a problem, first of all, you need to determine whether the problem is caused by your own wrong code or a problem with Netless itself. We can determine through Netless's testing center.
When you observe a problem, you first need to determine the uuid
and roomToken
of the room where the problem occurred. Then enter Real-time Room Test Center.
Choose the same version number of the SDK you are accessing in the red box as shown above, and fill in the remaining content as required, and finally click "Enter Room". If the problem you encountered before cannot be reproduced after entering the room, it means that the problem is your own. This may be because you wrote the wrong code, or it may be caused by the wrong use of Netless SDK.
You can also enter Playback Room Test Center to locate problems during playback.
Select the same version number of the SDK you are accessing in the red box as shown above, and fill in the remaining content as required, and finally click "Enter Playback". If the problem you encountered before cannot be reproduced, it means that the problem is your own.
After the product goes online, it is possible to receive feedback from users. First, you need to determine the uuid
of the room where the user reported the problem. Then, use it to go to the Console Log Query Page to query the log of the room. The key point can be to observe whether there is an error log, and whether there is a log of failure to join the room, etc.
For how to report and query online logs, please refer to the 《Online Logs》 chapter.
If you use the "Test Center" to reproduce the problem, or catch a certain error log in the online production environment, it means that the problem may come from Netless. You can go to Customer Service Platform to ask Netless for help.
In order for us to quickly locate your problem, you need to prepare the uuid
and roomToken
of the room in question in advance.
